A Note from the National Chaplain….

This coming weekend the US Jaycees will honor young individuals who have made a difference in the area of farming. These individual have succeeded even when they have been faced with unforeseen weather or circumstances beyond their control. What makes a good farmer is their drive to never give up when times get hard. As we all start thinking about spring and warmer weather may we also keep all the farmers in our thoughts and prayers as well for a successful year and crop.

We all are like these farmers. We might not plant a seed to grow a crop, but we plant a seed inside each of our members in hopes that they will grow into a great leader. These leaders need our attention and nurture as they grow into to great leaders. So as you go about your week remember to tend to your crop for weeds as they are always trying to make their way into a great crop.
